Malcolm Rose
Malcolm Rose (* 1953 in Coventry ) is a British writer for young people . His first book, entitled “ Framed! “(Eng. " Todesschütze " ), the prelude to a youth book series Traces , has been selected as the most outstanding international book for 2006 by the United States Board on Books for Young People and the Children's Book Council . By 2008 a total of six books had appeared in the Traces series .
Until 1996 Rose worked as a chemistry lecturer at an Open University , England. Today he is a full-time youth author and writes thrillers with a scientific background. He lives in Sheffield with his family . He is married and has a son.
