The Malek Vineyard ( Persian انگورستان ملک, ænguɾɛstɑn ɛ mælɛc ) is a historic house in the Iranian city of Isfahan and was owned by a wealthy man of the city for a long time during the Nadir Shah's era . It was confiscated by the king during the reign of Naser ad-Din Shah . The successors of Naser ad-Din Shah declared it a club property and a national treasure . In the time of Mohammed Ali Shah , a hussainia was built in the garden and its management was given to Malek ot-Todschar , an Isfahan merchant. Some parts of the vineyard and the building were destroyed during the urban expansion. What remained was a central courtyard and a dining room. The Malek vineyard is currently used as a Hussainia. A permit is required to visit it.
