Malmö Arab Film Festival

Malmö Arab Film Festival (MAFF) is a film festival of Arabic films held every autumn in Malmö , Sweden .

The festival has been taking place since 2011 and is now the largest Arab film festival in Europe.

An important aim of the festival is to promote intercultural understanding. The films, feature films , short films and documentaries portray the Arab region and culture and are subtitled in English and Swedish . A quarter of the films are produced with non-Arab partners.
