Mammootty
Mammootty ( Malayalam മമ്മൂട്ടി ), actually PI Mohammed Kutty (born September 7, 1951 in Chandiroor , Travancore-Cochin ), is an Indian actor, producer and philanthropist. He became known for his roles in Malayalam films . He also played in other Indian regional languages such as Tamil , Hindi , Telugu and Kannada . During a career spanning more than three decades, he starred in over 360 films. He also appeared in the highest number of double roles (nine) in Malayalam films.
Mammootty is the director of Malayalam Communications Ltd., which operates the Malayalam cable channels Kairali TV, People TV and WE TV.
