Mané Brizil

The Dolmen Mané Brizil (also Mané-Brisil ) is located north of the Chemin du Mané Brizil road in the north of Carnac in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

This type of dolmen ( French dolmen à couloir ) has essentially been preserved as a short piece of corridor. It has three capstones that rest on four supporting stones. The D-shaped chamber consisting of 15 preserved supporting stones, the straight side of which forms the end of the megalithic complex, is 3.2 m long and 2.6 m wide on the main axis, but has lost all of its (probably three) cap stones. A remnant of the former hill is still visible.
