Maneuvering March

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The maneuvering march was composed in 1836 by the Austrian military bandmaster Andreas Nemetz on behalf of the Imperial War Council for the Imperial and Royal Army and published in 1844 in its general music school for military music . The voice of the small drum in 6/8 time is the origin of the striking that is common throughout Austria today .
