The Manavgat Reservoir on the Manavgat River is located in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains in Turkey , about 80 km east of Antalya and 17 km inland from the coast.
It was built to generate electricity and, with a turbine capacity of 48 MW, produces an annual energy volume of 220 GWh. The reservoir is navigable and is also used for tourism.
