The Mandl & Schwarz-Verlag is a German publishing house for publications on IT themes that primarily through the use of products made by Apple are determined as iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, iMac or applications from the iLife software. The publishing program is aimed at committed beginners and interested advanced users in the areas of “Basics of the Apple world”, “iPad, iPhone, iOS and Android”, “Photos, films and music”, “Publishing and presenting” as well as “Office, database and Organization".

The publishing house was founded in 2005 by Daniel Mandl and Michael Schwarz. The publishing house is based in Husum . Daniel Mandl used to be a specialist author for other book publishers (SmartBooks and others). The first books under their own publisher's name were books on iTunes , iPhoto , iMovie and Mac OS X , Apple's operating system. Other specialist book authors complete the program, e.g. B. on the topic of iWork, Microsoft Office, but also instructions for “Scientific work on the Mac”, Android or for demanding database topics such as FileMaker Pro.

In addition to the printed works in paper form, the publisher makes its reading available in traditional specialist and book stores on its own website as well as an e-book as a PDF .

Since June 2013 Mandl & Schwarz has been gradually offering the books as ePUB files for iOS devices for download.
