Manfred Bruckschen

Manfred Bruckschen (born June 13, 1938 in Rheinhausen ; † January 22, 2019 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and works council.

Life

After completing elementary school in 1953 and subsequent vocational school, Bruckschen passed the skilled worker examination as a lathe operator in 1956. He worked as a skilled worker until 1966 . In 1966 he became a member of the works council of Krupp-Stahl AG in Rheinhausen, 1984 (until 1992) chairman of the works council and second chairman of the general works council. From 1992 to 1995 Bruckschen was 2nd chairman of the works council of Krupp / Hoesch Stahl AG, Rheinhausen plant , and from 1978 to 1993 a member of the supervisory board of Krupp-Stahl AG.

From 1964 to 1975 Bruckschen was a member of the district council of the Moers district and from 1975 to 1985 a member of the Rheinhausen district council. From 1990 to 2000 he was a member of the eleventh and twelfth state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia . He entered the state parliament as a directly elected candidate for the Duisburg III constituency.

During his time as a member of the state parliament, Bruckschen repeatedly made negative headlines because of alcohol problems and the simultaneous receipt of parliamentary diets and unemployment benefits .
