Manfred Carrington (born October 4, 1967 in Linz ) is an Austrian photographer, graphic artist, author, publisher and local history researcher .

Live and act

Carrington founded the advertising agency Herkules Artwork in 1996 and the Lentia-Verlag, established in Linz-Ebelsberg in 2009, which has meanwhile become one of the leading publishers for local history in Upper Austria and has an extensive historical photo collection. Carrington is also the publisher of the Linz-Süd Aktuell newspaper .

As a local researcher, Carrington is mainly active in the Linz area. He also compiled community chronicles (e.g. from Traun , Pasching, St. Florian) and company chronicles such as for Siemens, Rosenbauer and Linz Textil .
