Manfred Götz

Manfred Götz (born January 7, 1932 in Dresden ) is a German Islamic scholar and Turkologist .

From 1980 until his retirement, Manfred Götz was a full professor for Islamic and Turkish Studies at the Oriental Seminary at the University of Cologne , where he had previously worked as a researcher and university professor.
