Manfred Grob (born February 8, 1952 in Räsa ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Thuringian state parliament from 1999 to 2019 .

Career

Grob is a trained electrician and worked from 1971 to 1990 in the Werra potash plant in Merkers . From 1991 to 1994 he was mayor of Kieselbach and from 1994 to 1999 he was district member and department head for social affairs, youth, school, culture and health in the Wartburg district .

From the state election in 1999 to the state election in 2019 , in which he no longer ran, Grob was a member of the Thuringian state parliament. He was in each case as Direct candidate in the constituency Wartburgkreis I selected. In the state parliament he was the sports policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group. He is also a member of the district council in the Wartburg district.
