Manfred Lindner is a former German soccer player who worked exclusively for FC Bayern Munich .

Career

Lindner belonged to FC Bayern Munich from 1953 to 1961 , for which he was both a midfielder and a striker in the Oberliga Süd , the top German division at the time.

If he completed only one friendly match in his first season, it was nine in the following season ; he also played his first four of a total of 56 league games. He crowned his debut on August 29, 1954 (2nd matchday) in the 1: 2 defeat at home against FSV Frankfurt with his only goal for Bayern , which he scored in the 13th minute to equalize 1: 1 .
