Manfred Lischewski

Manfred Lischewski (born September 2, 1940 in Königsberg ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Bundestag .

Life

Lischewski completed an apprenticeship in chemistry laboratory technicians in Buna from 1957 to 1960 , made up his Abitur in 1961 and began studying chemistry at the Martin Luther University in Halle . He finished his studies with a diploma in 1966 and worked as a research assistant at this university in the following years. In 1970 he also received his doctorate there. From 1972 he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Plant Biochemistry in Halle (Saale) . His habilitation followed in 1981 . In August 1990 he joined the CDU . A little later in the federal election, he got a mandate. From 1994 to 1998 he was chairman of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development. He was a member of the Bundestag until 2002.
