Manfred Rottensteiner (born January 9, 1993 ) is an Austrian football player . He plays in the position of a defender at 1. SC Sollenau in the Regionalliga Ost .

Athletic career

Rottensteiner began his career at SV Weikersdorf in Lower Austria in 1999. In 2007 he moved to the youth department of SV Mattersburg , where he was brought into the second team four years later.

With the amateurs of Burgenland , he made his debut in the Regionalliga Ost on June 1, 2011 against FC Waidhofen / Ybbs , when he came on for Dukagjin Karanezi at halftime . After a total of seven games for the second team, the central defender moved to SC Wiener Neustadt in January 2013 , where he made his Bundesliga debut on March 2, 2013 when he played through in the 1: 3 away defeat against FC Red Bull Salzburg . However, this was his only appearance, because in all other games of the spring the son of the president of SC Wiener Neustadt was not in the first team squad.
