Manfred Waldemar Kohl
Manfred Waldemar Kohl (* between 1939 and 1945 in Germany ) is a theologian and publicist in the USA from Germany .
Life
Kohl was born in Germany during the Second World War . After attending school in Germany, England and the USA, he obtained a master's and doctor's degree in theology. First he was a pastor in Massachusetts , then he worked for World Vision, for which he founded World Vision Germany from 1979 . In 1993 he moved to Overseas Council International , where he became Vice President. The organization has partnerships with more than 100 Bible schools and theological seminaries in the non-Western world and equips leading Christian figures. He has been a special ambassador for them since 2010. He is on the board of directors of Peacemaker Ministries .
He is married to Barbara from Nova Scotia , where the couple now live. The two have two grown sons.
