Manfred Werp
Manfred Werp (born March 12, 1935 in Rheine ) is a German lawyer . From December 1982 to October 1998 he was a judge at the German Federal Court of Justice .
After completing his legal training and doctorate, Werp joined the judicial service of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1969 . Appointed regional judge in 1971 , he initially worked as a judge at the Essen regional court . After secondments to the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Justice and the Federal Court of Justice, Werp was appointed judge at the Higher Regional Court in 1977; he held this position at the Hamm Higher Regional Court .
In 1982 Werp was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice. During the entire time of his membership in this court he was in the III. Civil Senate , has been its deputy chairman since 1996.
