Mangrol is a city in the Indian state of Gujarat .
The city is part of the Junagadh district . Mangrol has the status of a Municipality ( Nagar Palika ). The city is divided into 12 wards . It had a total of 63,794 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census. The city was once the capital of the Princely State of Mangrol .
