Mani Haghighi
Mani Haghighi (born May 4, 1969 in Tehran ) is an Iranian theater director and filmmaker.
Life
Haghighi studied philosophy , drama and methodology in Canada . He worked as a theater director and made a documentary film, several shorts and commercials from 1994, and his debut feature film Abadan in 2003. His film Men at Work was shown in the Forum des Junge Films as part of the 2006 International Film Festival in Berlin . His film Modest Reception celebrated its world premiere at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.
In 2016 Haghighi received for his feature film Ejhdeha Vared Mishavad! (English: A Dragon Arrives! ) an invitation to the competition of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival .
