Mann-o-Mann was a game show hosted by Peer Augustinski on German television. It was broadcast on Sat.1 from 1992 to 1995 . Directed by Pit Weyrich .

concept

The show has been dubbed a "women's game show," which was reflected in an all-female studio audience and all-male candidates. The ten candidates, who came from the same city, competed against each other in games designed to prove their manhood . Both physical and mental abilities of the candidates were required during the games. After each round of the game, the (female) audience excluded a number of candidates, depending on the round, who were then promoted to a swimming pool by animators known as limited girls . The winner of the game had to choose from three prizes and was allowed to be kissed by the Limited Girls as a “reward” .

Further spread

The show was the world's most successful German TV show in the 1990s. After the start in Germany, Mann-o-Mann was produced in more than 20 countries over the years: under the title “Man-o-Man” in England, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden; in Spain initially regionally under the title “Elles & Ellos”, then nationwide under the title “Uno para todas”; in Italy under the title “Beato tra le donne”; in Portugal as "Ai os homens"; in France as “Le cheri de ces dames”, in Turkey as “Ah kizlar vah erkekler”.

From January 16, 2009, Sat. 1 started a new edition of the program under the name Mister Perfect - Der MännerTest , which was moderated by Alexander Mazza and largely adopted the old concept.
