The list of team squads of the national division (chess) 2001/02 contains all players who have played at least one game in the Luxembourg national chess division 2001/02 with their individual results.
The number of registered players was not limited. While Cercle d'échecs Philidor Dommeldange-Beggen managed with 13 players, Gambit Bonnevoie and the second team from Le Cavalier Differdange each used 17 players. A total of 114 players were used, 13 of whom played in all competitions.
The best players with 7.5 points each from 9 games were Robert Ackermann (Gambit Bonnevoie) and Thorsten Michael Haub (Schachklub Nordstad). Jean Schammo (Cercle d'échecs Dudelange) and Yves Schlüter (Le Cavalier Differdange) scored 7 points each from 10 games .
With Elvira Berend , Michael Wiedenkeller (both Gambit Bonnevoie), Frank Riva, Helge Poulsen (both Cercle d'échecs Dudelange), Nicolas Eickmann (Le Cavalier Differdange), Boris Prizker ( De Sprénger Echternach ) and Paul Mertens (Le Cavalier Belvaux) seven players 100%, with Prizker playing three games, Berend, Wiedenkeller and Mertens two each, Riva, Poulsen and Eickmann one each.
