Manuel Ríos Ríos (born August 22, 1976 in Mexico City ) is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .

Life

Manuel Ríos began his professional career at CF Pachuca , in whose ranks he made his debut in the Mexican Primera División on March 22, 1997 in the away game against Puebla FC (0-1).

In 1998 he moved to CD Guadalajara , where he made 43 top division appearances in two and a half years and scored four goals. In addition, Ríos played several games in the Copa Merconorte in 2000 , where he was three times on the scorers list.

In the summer of 2002 he won the championship with Club America and was used in the 2002 Copa Libertadores .

Most recently, Ríos was under contract with Puebla FC from summer 2003 to late 2004; the club against which he made his debut in the Mexican premier league in 1997.
