Manuela Dominioni (born June 12, 1990 ) is a former Swiss floorball player on the position of striker, who was under contract with Piranha Chur .
Career
society
Manuela Dominioni's first club was the UHC Calanda Flyers Trimmis when she was a junior before she moved to Piranha Chur. For the 2007/08 season Dominioni became part of the Chur women’s first team in the Swiss Mobiliar League at that time . With Piranha Chur she was able to lift seven trophies, including six championships and one time the Swiss Cup. The Cup finals in 2008 and 2014 were defeated by their opponents. Dominioni was repeatedly plagued by knee and back problems. On May 26, 2016, the association announced the contract extension with Dominioni. After the 2016/17 season, Dominioni announced her resignation.
National team
In May 2008 Dominioni won the World Championship title with the Swiss U19 floorball team. In 2015 Dominioni played for the title at the World Cup in Tampere, Finland with the Swiss national floorball team , but was eliminated in the semi-finals against eventual world champions Sweden . During the tournament she scored a goal and an assist. In 2016 Dominioni announced his resignation from the national team for health reasons.
