Maple Leaf Square is a two high-rise building complex in Toronto in the Canadian province of Ontario . The houses are buildings with 872 residential units. The buildings reach heights of 186 and 174 meters. The buildings contain apartments, offices, a hotel and several shopping opportunities. The building is located west of downtown, right near the Scotiabank Arena . The buildings were created through a joint project between Cadillac Fairview , Lanterra and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), which also includes the Scotiabank Arena.
Furnishing
The buildings have 872 residential units and the LeGermain Boutique Hotel with 167 rooms. Furthermore, there is an area of approx. 21,000 m 2 of office space, 10,000 m 2 of shops, and 650 m 2 of a day-care center. Additional amenities include an HD theater in the podium of the building, which shows Leafs TV and Raptors NBA programs. The Real Sports Bar and Grill is a sports bar showing current sporting events. The buildings have a four-story underground car park with around 900 parking spaces.
LEED
The buildings were designed to be energy efficient. The buildings were awarded silver status by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) . The LEED rating system takes into account the planning, construction and operation of the building.
