María Aileen H. Bugarin

María Aileen H. Bugarin is a diplomat from the Philippines .

Career

Bugarin was Deputy Head of the Philippine Embassy in New Delhi ( India ) until 2009 . From July 2009 to July 2015, Bugarin was the Philippine Ambassador to East Timor . She was then Assistant Secretary of the Office of Protocol at the Philippine Ministry of Foreign Affairs until she was replaced by Jerril G. Santos on March 7, 2016. This was followed by the post of Assistant Secretary in the Human Resource Management Office (HMRO).

Since 2017 Bugarin is Philippine Consul General in the Japanese Osaka .

Awards

In 2012, Bugarin received the Insígnia des Ordem de Timor-Leste from East Timor's President José Ramos-Horta .
