Marc Bonnefous

Marc Bonnefous (born January 5, 1924 in Bordeaux , † 2002 ) was a French diplomat , most recently with the rank of ambassador.

Life

Marc Bonnefous was the son of Renée Teillac and Henri Bonnefous and married Monique Lesbegueris in 1946. He attended the Lycee de Bordeaux, studied law at the Faculté de Droit in Bordeaux and at the ENA .

From June 3, 1970 to November 18, 1972 he was ambassador to Brazzaville . From 1973 to 1977 he was Inspecteur des postes diplomatiques et consulaires . From December 28, 1977 to September 1, 1982 he was ambassador to Tel Aviv . From July 27, 1987 to January 17, 1989 he was the representative of the French government at the OECD .
