Marc Weisshaupt
Marc Weisshaupt (born July 7, 1970 in Krefeld ) is a former German racing cyclist .
Marc Weisshaupt began his career in 1998 with the Gerolsteiner team . In his second year he drove for Tönissteiner-Colnago before moving to Flanders-Prefetex . In 2003 he drove for one season with the Polish racing team CCC Polsat , and in 2005 he drove for the Dutch Continental Team Skil-Moser . From 2006 onwards Weisshaupt drove the Austrian Professional Continental Team Elk Haus-Simplon . Since he could not find a new employer, he ended his career at the end of 2007 without any notable success.
In mid-2011, the then 41-year-old started a comeback attempt with the third-class Greek team Worldofbike.Gr. At the end of August, the team was revoked by the UCI.
