Marcel Chládek
Marcel Chládek (born April 9, 1968 Rakovník ) is a Czech politician and member of the Social Democratic Party ( ČSSD ). From January 2014 to June 2015 he was Minister for Education, Youth and Sport in the Bohuslav Sobotka government .
Chládek studied at the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and worked as a teacher and in various educational institutions. He has been a member of the ČSSD since 2004, a city councilor in his hometown of Rakovník, and was elected to the Senate in 2008. He remained a senator until 2014.
