Marcel Reuter first attracted attention in the high junior age groups before he became a national player for adults in the 2000s. In 2008 he was the first German team champion with the 1st BC Bischmisheim . At the individual championships of the following two years he won bronze in the men's singles. On July 10, 2013, Marcel announced the end of his international career.
