Kristof Hopp
Kristof Hopp (born July 14, 1978 in Kiel ) is a German badminton player and teacher .
Career
Hopp was active in the men's doubles and mixed doubles disciplines. With 84 appointments to the national team from 2000 to 2010, he was at times Germany's record national player for men. He played his first international match on February 18, 2000 in Sofia against the Netherlands in the Thomas Cup qualification.
Kristof Hopp graduated from high school in 1999 and studied English / geography and business administration.
Together with his mixed partner Birgit Overzier , he qualified for participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . There they lost in the first round against the Indonesians Flandy Limpele and Vita Marissa, who were in third place, in two sets. In 2010 he ended his national team career.
