life and career

Taken in 1910 in Redlands in the State of California born Garner made her debut as Minnie Mouse at the age of 18 years in 1928, arriving in crash landing ( Plane Crazy on), the first Mickey Mouse cartoon ever participated and there the side of Walt Disney was used. Together with him, she was to be used in a large number of other cartoons by 1939. By that same year, Garner, who was known as Marcellite Lincoln after her marriage , had a total of 55 cartoon productions in which she was involved. She came to most of her productions until 1934, after which Garner's engagements decreased somewhat. One of the reasons for this was, among other things, that from 1935 the Mickey Mouse cartoons were largely produced in color, which in turn took a longer period of production to complete.

In 1956 she slipped into a Disneyland production, which existed from 1954 to 2008, again in her role as Minnie Mouse and lent her her voice for the last time. Furthermore, she came to another engagement as a voice actress in Disney's fantastic Halloween festival in 1982 . She died on July 26, 1993 at the age of 83 in Nevada County, California, her home state.
