Marco Bertolaso (* 1964 ) is a senior news editor and journalist in Germany radio .

Life

Bertolaso ​​studied history and political science in Cologne, Bonn, Paris and Oxford . During his studies he wrote for various print and online media and worked for a political science research institute. After receiving his doctorate, he was assistant to a member of the Bundestag. In 1992 he joined the Central News department of Deutschlandfunk as an editor, which he has headed since 2007 as the successor to Volkher Just , who was retiring. Since the end of 2012, he and a colleague have also been responsible for the online media.

He is on the jury of the Intelligence Agency (INA), which selects the top 10 neglected topics.
