Marco Donat (born December 6, 1980 ) is a German volleyball player and coach.

Career

Donat began his volleyball career in 1986 at VC Bottrop 90 . In 2006 he moved from the second division to the French club Conflans Volley. He later returned to Bottrop, where he became assistant coach of RWE Volleys, which made it to the Bundesliga in 2009. When the club lost some players during the 2011/12 season due to financial problems, the manager's son Wolfgang Donat was also added to the team as an outside attacker.
