Neumühle is a part of the municipality of Wilburgstetten in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the left bank of the Wörnitz and is surrounded by arable land and grassland with a few trees. In the north the corridor is called Baumhof. In the south, beyond the Wörnitz, lies the Grünhof forest area. There are remains of the Limes and a former Roman watchtower. A community road leads to Welchenholz (1.2 km to the west) or to Wörnitzhofen (2 km to the northeast).

history

As a result of the community edict, Neumühle was assigned to the tax district and rural community of Wittelshofen formed in 1809 . In 1813 the place came to the newly formed rural community Illenschwang . On July 1, 1972 Neumühle was incorporated into Wilburgstetten as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

Former mill: two-storey solid plastered building with a steep pitched roof, probably 1682.
