Marco Grevelhörster (born April 26, 1970 ) is a former German soccer player .

Player career

Marco Grevelhörster came from SpVgg Ingelheim in 1991 to the amateur league at FSV Frankfurt , where he has developed into an important support for the team over the years. In 1994 he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with the FSV . After Frankfurt was knocked off last in the following season, but Grevelhörster was after all the second best scorer of his team with six goals behind Miklos Molnar , he moved to 1. FSV Mainz 05 and stayed in the second division. He stayed with Mainz again for four years, only to switch to Kickers Offenbach in 1999 for the equivalent of 100,000 euros . In April 2000 he suffered a herniated disc, as a result of which he was listed as a sports disabled person from July 2000.
