Marco Hämmerli (born May 7, 1985 ) is a Swiss football player .
After the 174 cm left foot had gained initial experience at FC Gossau in the 1st division and his home club FC Wil in the Challenge League , he switched to the Axpo Super League for FC Thun for the 2006/2007 season . In 2008 he was transferred to FC St. Gallen , with whom he was promoted to the top division in the following season.
Marco Hämmerli's preferred position is the left wing.
Since the 2017/18 season he has been playing for the 4th league club FC Littenheid.
