Marco Lehmann (born October 28, 1993 in Bülach ) is a Swiss basketball player .

career

Lehmann was trained in basketball at Opfikon Basket, moved to BC Alte Kanti Aarau in 2012 and made his debut there in the National League B. In the 2013/14 season he was recognized by the internet service eurobasket.com as the best local player in the league and received this title in of the 2015/16 season (this time in the shirt of the Grasshopper Club Zurich ) again. Lehmann was twice champion of the second highest Swiss league.

2016 Lehmann came to Swiss Central Basket and in the National League A . He was also a top performer there. In the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons he was the best Swiss scorer in the league with averages of 18.2 and 17.6 respectively per match.

In the basketball variant "3-on-3" Lehmann finished seventh in the final tournament of the world series in October 2017. At the beginning of November 2019, Lehmann, known as a strong distance thrower, moved to Friborg Olympic .

National team

In 2013, Lehmann was part of the Swiss national team at the U20 European B Championship and scored 7.6 points per game over the course of the tournament.
