Marco Leto
Marco Leto (born January 18, 1931 in Rome ; † April 21, 2016 there ) was an Italian film and television director and screenwriter .
Life
Leto began his film career as an assistant director in 1954; in this capacity he worked for several films until the mid-1960s. Then he switched to television, where he worked on series while he wrote scripts for movies. In 1972 he made his debut as a director - first for television, then in the cinema. Until the end of the following decade he was mainly active in television; With I vecchi ei giovani he achieved considerable success not only with the critics.
