Marco Masi

Marco Masi (born April 2, 1934 in Rome ) is an Italian author, screenwriter and film director .

Life

Masi was active as a small actor in films before he appeared for the first time as a screenwriter and template author in 1961; By the beginning of the following decade he had scripted eight genre films - mainly sandal films and spaghetti westerns . Between 1965 and 1984 he also directed five barely performed and now forgotten films at large intervals, including the enigmatic Il seme di Caino . Four works were also created for television.

In addition to his cinematic work, Masi wrote around 150 novels - often under pseudonyms such as Janno Slesna -, 25 crime stories and other works in the field of fiction.
