The wanderings of Hercules (original title: Goliath contro i giganti ) is a 1961 incurred mythological adventure movie , the Guido Malatesta staged. German premiere was on December 8, 1961.
content
Bokan is a devious man who has illegally usurped the throne of Beirath. He persuades the king's daughter Elea that Hercules was responsible for her father's death; of course he himself was the commissioner of the murder. She manages to smuggle herself onto the ship of the war hero Hercules, who has to deal with a sea monster on the way, whereupon the ship capsizes. Only a few, including Hercules and Elea, can escape to a beach, but have to fight off a group of amazons and fight their way to Beirath.
Despite her disguise, Bokan immediately takes action against her; Hercules and Elea, who have fallen in love, are able to escape the stalking of Bokan's people and clarify the real events to the population. Then they support the people in overthrowing the regime.
One last fight takes place in the valley of the giants, where Elea, who fell into the hands of Jagoran's bodyguard in the turmoil, is to be sacrificed to wild animals. Hercules knows how to prevent that too.

"The amount of howling dummies of monsters, splendid palace scenes, gladiator fights and acrobatic frenzy of battle is very considerable, and anyone who appreciates such feasts with money gets their money's worth."

Remarks
In the original of the "naive adventure entertainment" the hero goes by the name of Goliath . In addition, the German version was only 87 minutes long.
The studio scenes were filmed in the Cinecittà , the outdoor scenes in Spain.
