Edmondo Lozzi

Edmondo Lozzi (born June 23, 1916 in Rome ; † April 11, 1990 there ) was an Italian film editor .

Life

Lozzi worked for the film since 1932; Initially he worked for the companies "Fono Film" and "Scalera" with sound effects and dubbing and then devoted himself to various companies as a sound engineer, assistant editor and assistant director for smaller films from 1948 and 1956. From 1949 - his debut was Augusto Geninas Cielo sulle palude - as editor he was responsible for the film editing of numerous films of different genres . From 1961 on he worked almost exclusively with director Gianfranco Parolini on his colorful adventure films .

Lozzi himself directed on two occasions: as early as 1949 with Marakatumba, ma non è una rumba , mostly attributed to Enzo Trapani , and nine years later with Natale Montillo's production La sposa . Several times it is used under the pseudonym Zimmerwald .
