Marco Mohrmann (born September 7, 1973 ) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU).

Life

After completing his military service and an agricultural apprenticeship, Mohrmann studied agricultural sciences at the University of Kiel and in Wageningen (Netherlands). In 2005 he received his doctorate in agricultural sciences. Mohrmann had worked at HANSA Landhandel in Heeslingen from 2004 until he was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament. On October 15, 2017, Mohrmann succeeded in entering the Lower Saxony state parliament with 50.5% of the first votes for the CDU as a direct candidate in the Bremervörde state electoral district . Mohrmann operates forestry as a sideline. He has been a member of the supervisory board of Zevener Volksbank eG since 2012. Mohrmann is married and has three children.
