Marco Pichlmayer (born July 27, 1987 in Bad Aussee ) is an Austrian Nordic combined athlete .

Pichlmayer starts for the WSC Bad Mitterndorf . After initial successes in school competitions and in the Austria Cup, he got into the A-team of the ÖSV . At Junior World Championships he won the silver medal in the team competition in 2006 and the silver medal in the Gundersen competition and the gold medal in the team competition in 2007. In the B-World Cup Nordic Combined Pichlmayer was the first time in January 2005 at the start. In the 2007/08 season he won the overall standings with three individual wins and several podium places. He competed in the A World Cup for the first time in March 2006 in Lathi, Finland. His best World Cup result so far is a 6th place in Chaux-Neuve on February 1, 2009. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec 2009, Pichlmayer achieved his first and only start on February 28th, 2009 on the large hill took 18th place. In the following years he achieved several victories and podium places in the Continental Cup, but could no longer match the previous results in the World Cup.

Pichlmayer made his furthest flight to date of around 190 meters on January 13, 2016 when flying into the Kulm . Two weeks later at the Continental Cup in Pyeongchang (South Korea), Marco finished 3rd and 2nd in his last competitions, after which he ended his sporting career as a Nordic combined athlete at the World Cup triple in Seefeld (January 30, 2016).
