The Marco Polo Highline is a 160 km long and 80 km wide deep back in the Ross Sea before Saunders Coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd lands .

Italian scientists discovered it between March and June 1993. They named it in 1997 after the Venetian trader and explorer Marco Polo (1254–1324).
