Marco Veronesi

Marco Veronesi (* 1972 in Bopfingen ) is a German-Italian economic and social historian .

Life

Veronesi studied Medieval History, Modern History and Romance Philology at the universities of Tübingen , Stuttgart and Verona . He received his doctorate in 2008 from the University of Tübingen with a thesis on the Upper German long-distance trading company in Genoa in the late Middle Ages. In 2012 he curated the large special exhibition "The Humpis in Genoa - Palazzi, luoghi and caruggi" for the Ravensburger Museum Humpis Quartier .
