Marcos Misdrahi (* in Mexico City ) is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .

Life

Misdrahi was part of the regular formation of his home club UNAM Pumas , with whom he reached the finals of the Mexican football championship in the 1987/88 and 1990/91 seasons . The final opponent in both cases was the arch-rival América, based in the same district of Coyoacán in the Mexican capital . After América prevailed in 1988, the Pumas took revenge in 1991. In the championship season 1990/91 Misdrahi also scored five of his ten first division goals; in a period of only two and a half months between November 29, 1990 (2-1 against other city ​​rivals Cruz Azul ) and February 16, 1991 (2-1 defeat at Tiburones Rojos Veracruz ). Two years earlier, Misdrahi won the CONCACAF Champions Cup with the Pumas in 1989 .
