Marcus Arrecinus Clemens (Praetorian Prefect)

Marcus Arrecinus Clemens was a Roman knight in the 1st century who came from Pisaurum .

Under Caligula he was Praetorian prefect and involved in the conspiracy against the emperor in 41. About his other career is unknown, but he may or relative in an inscription from Ariminum called military tribune f M. M. Arrecinus. Be Clemens .

He had a son of the same name , who was a suffect consul in 73 and 85 , and a daughter Arrecina Tertulla, the first wife of the future emperor Titus , who died early .
