Marcus Bieder

Marcus Andreas Bieder (* 1976 ) is a German lawyer and professor at the University of Osnabrück .

Life

Bieder began studying law in 1996 at the University of Osnabrück , which he completed in 2002 with the first state examination in law. During his studies he was a research assistant at the chairs of Joachim Schulz and Ulrich Foerste . From 2002 to 2005 he worked as a research assistant for Renate Käppler in Osnabrück, where he finally received his doctorate in 2006, before he obtained his second state examination in 2007. From 2007 to 2014, Bieder initially worked as a research assistant for Markus Stoffels in Osnabrück, then moved to the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg together with Stoffels in 2012 after his appointmentbut as a temporary academic advice there. In 2014 he was awarded the venia legendi for civil law, labor law, commercial and corporate law by the law faculty of Heidelberg University after his habilitation.

Since the winter semester 2014/15, Bieder has held the chair for civil law, German and European labor law, commercial and company law at the University of Osnabrück, which he represented in the winter semester 2013/14 before his official habilitation.
