Marcus Ceionius Silvanus was a Roman politician and senator of the 2nd century AD

Silvanus came from Italy and was the son of a Ceionius Silvanus and grandson of Lucius Ceionius Commodus . Another grandson of Ceionius Commodus was the emperor Lucius Verus . Thus Silvanus belonged to the imperial family. His career is unknown except for his regular consulate, which he held in 156.
