Marcus Claudius Marcellus (Praetor)
Marcus Claudius Marcellus was a Roman general in the republic .
Marcellus was able to get 102 BC. In the battle of Aquae Sextiae against the Germanic tribes . He fought as a legate in the alliance war in 90 BC. Under Lucius Julius Caesar , but he could not prevent the city of Aesernia from falling away from Rome and was captured there. Marcellus was praetor , probably before 73 BC. Chr.
